Goring & Streatley GAP Festival

There will be no Goring Artisan Market in June, as Andrea will be proudly involved in the Goring and Streatley GAP Festival - a much loved celebration of arts and culture taking place in the Goring Gap villages.

The GAP Festival is a biennial celebration of arts, science and entertainment that started as an ambitious cultural project in 2014 as a legacy to the Queen's Jubilee. It brings outstanding performers and artists together, encompassing art, music, literature, comedy, theatre, science and more. With over 50 events and workshops, it has become a highlight in the community calendar, drawing in local residents and those in the surrounding areas too.

The Goring and Streatley Festival, as it is officially known, is a registered charity. It relies on the generous support of its volunteers, sponsors, and individual donations to make it happen. So, Andrea is delighted to have joined the team of passionate volunteers involved in bringing this together.

The 2026 Festival programme will invite our community to come on a Journey of Discovery with a wide ranging programme of activities and events for all ages. This includes a chance to discover local artisans at the ever popular GAP Festival Market Day event, taking place on Sunday 14th June in Goring.

If you would like to be discovered at this unforgettable local celebration and hold a stall at the GAP Festival Market Day on Sunday 14th June, please register your interest with Andrea at MarketDay@gapfestival.org. More details will be available on the GAP Festival website soon.
