Artisan Market Terms & Conditions

 Insurance & Legal Requirements

  • All stallholders must have Public Liability Insurance (PLI).

  • A valid PLI certificate must be provided with the booking form (required for first-time bookers or if the policy has been renewed since last booking).

  • All products must comply with UK safety and licensing requirements.

  • All electrical items brought must be PAT tested and no more than two years old.

  • Stall holders must carry out their own risk assessments.

Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are only confirmed once full payment, completed booking form, and valid PLI certificate are received.

  • Single space (approx. 7ft × 5ft): £35 

  • Double space (same stall holder): £50

  • Please bring your own table (chairs are provided). Limited borrowed tables available on request.

Deposit System (for 3+ markets)

  • The first market is always paid in full.

  • Each additional market can be reserved with a £10 non-refundable deposit - per date.

  • Remaining balance due 4 weeks before each market.

  • Unpaid balances 3 weeks before the event may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.

  • Responsibility lies with the stall holder to ensure payment is made on time (reminders will be sent as a courtesy).

Market Dates & Times (2026)

  • Set-up available from 8:00 am.

  • All stalls must be ready by 9:45 am.

  • Trading hours 10:00 – 15:00.

  • No packing away before 3:00 pm— it is considered unprofessional, disruptive, and unsafe.

Stall & Product Rules

  • Stall space approx. 7ft × 5ft— displays must fit within allocated space.

  • Only handmade or carefully sourced high-quality goods permitted — no car-boot-style or “junk” items.

  • Stall holders must declare all products they plan to sell when booking.

  • Any significant change in product range must be notified.

  • No guaranteed exclusivity of product type, but a balanced mix is always aimed for.

On the Day

  • Unload quickly and park considerately — no parking at the venue.

  • Keep noise to a minimum during set-up and pack-down.

  • Bring your own table coverings and decorations.

  • Keep your area tidy and take responsibility for any damage caused.

  • All rubbish and packaging must be taken away by the stall holder.

  • Borrowed tables must be put out and returned after use.

 Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation within 28 days of booking: full refund.

  • Cancellation after 28 days: refund only if the space can be re-filled (less £10 admin fee).

  • No refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the event or for non-attendance.

  • In the event of market cancellation by the organiser: full refund or transfer to another date.

 Promotion & Images

  • Photos and videos may be taken at events for promotional use.

  • Stall holders are encouraged to promote the market and tag @andreaclare_events (Facebook/Instagram).

GDPR / Privacy

  • Your contact details are used only for bookings, reminders, and event updates.

  • You may opt out of emails in writing (but will then not receive booking reminders or updates).

Additional Notes

  • Dogs are welcome (must be on leads and well-behaved).

  • WiFi is available at the venue.

By completing and submitting the booking form and making payment, you agree to all the above terms and conditions.
